Glamour Photography Shoot

We are a small boutique Redcliffe photographic studio that also does Glamour Photography. I believe this form of photography should be done in a tasteful feminine style that is flattering to the subject and not tacky, cheap or overdone. I take great pride with the the amount of time we spend with our glamour clients, the range and variety of images I produce and the final retouch that is done to produce beautiful stunning images. These are photos that she will cherish through her life. Click thumbnails to view large.

Aerial Photos of Redcliffe

Aerial Photography. Something different for me though I have done plenty but not for a few years. My client needed some photos showing a future development site and its location relative to the Brisbane CBD (photo 1), Redcliffe Golf Course and beaches. Yesterday was a picture perfect morning over Redcliffe and an hours flight produced some 200 images. Click images to see large.

Chrome High Gloss Taps

Chrome taps, every photographers worst nightmare to photograph. The high reflective chrome taps reflect EVERYTHING! And it doesn't matter what angle it will still reflect the roof, room, camera and me! These were photographed with a special photographic tent and followed up with Photoshop retouching to remove those unwanted reflections that still creep in yet still retaining the reflective look of the chrome. Not a job for a novice photographer. These were done for a product tap-ware catalogue and my client's web site. Click images to see large.

Casual kids photo shoot

Kids playing.... nothing can be better to capture those candid images than when they are having a good time and not conscience of my camera. Click thumbnails to view large.

Dockside Wedding, Brisbane

Saturday saw us photographing the wedding of Renee and Eric from Kingaroy at Dockside, Kangaroo Point. A great venue and perfect for their wedding photography. On dusk the lights of the Story Bridge came on and made a romantic backdrop. Click on photos to see larger.

The Difference!

Often as a Professional Photographer I need to show clients what they get from me. The difference between what I do as a professional and what an amateur does. Click image to see the difference!

Shannon & Bill's Wedding at "Sails"

A few photos from Shannon and Bill's wedding last Saturday at "Sails on Suttons" just down the road from me here in Redcliffe at the beach. A chilly winter's day with a few drops of rain and lovely soft lighting. A fabulous couple to work and I created several hundred images for them to choose from for their wedding album. 2010 Redcliffe Show

Redcliffe Show 2nd, 3rd & 4th July 2010.
This is the 19th year we have had a stand at the Redcliffe Show. This year we were awarded the 2nd Place Ribbon for an inside display. I also had the privilege of judging the photographic section of the Show. Some of the work by Redcliffe amateur photographers was outstanding making it a difficult task. It is always good to catch up with old friends and see many past portrait and wedding clients (some with new family additions) I have done work for over the years. One elderly lady made the comment to me that she always visits the Redcliffe Show and has a look at my stand and what new work I have displayed. We will be there again next year so if you are at the Show drop by and say "Hi" to Carmel or myself. Click photos above to see large.

Timeless Black & White

I have always loved black & white going back over 20 years to my amateur days. There is something about its simplicity, no distracting colours, just the image itself. It has had a huge come back in popularity and many of my clients ask for it as it fits in so well with contemporary homes. Click thumbnails to see large.

Location Family Portrait

Outdoor family portraits are something I love doing. Getting out of my studio, having lovely clients to work with and choosing the right spot. Of course a prop or two helps and Prue and Andrew had just purchased a Jeep Wrangler which made a great prop! The close up family group then the 3 girls were photographed using a BBQ table with palms and greenery behind them and the late afternoon sun adding a touch of "rim" lighting to their hair.
