Some days a beautiful story comes along and this is what I love about my work. She was Lorna a Brisbane girl in wartime Brisbane and David a US Sub Mariner. They had a wartime romance and he had to return to the USA leaving a baby son Bob behind shortly after his birth. Bob never new his father and his father's family did not know about him in Australia. These photos have survived and I am privileged to restore them and put them together for Bob of his parents, the mother he hardly knew and the father he never met.
